Our principles

Active shaping of professional development

As well as a sense of responsibility and individual initiative, we foster the personal development of our employees and give them the freedom and scope to shape their own professional development. Every employee has the opportunity to present their own ideas. At the same time, we also promote commitment, performance and flexibility. We have a culture of open, trusting communication and encourage all employees to actively exchange ideas with colleagues and managers.

Security and stability

The continuous sales growth from 1873 through to worldwide revenues of €440 million in 2016 allows Dieffenbacher to guarantee employees a high degree of workplace security. The company has been 100% family-owned since it was founded in 1873. Committed to tradition, the owners demonstrate great responsibility towards their employees.

Prospects for development

Motivated, responsible and reliable employees are our most valuable assets. Unlocking our employees' potential ensures the success of the Dieffenbacher Group. Our employees therefore have the opportunity to continuously expand their knowledge as part of external or internal programmes. With 16 business locations and sales offices worldwide, the Dieffenbacher Group is never far from our customers. Dieffenbacher thus offers attractive entry opportunities with challenging prospects for development and advancement.

Teamwork

We offer a vibrant corporate culture that promotes partnership as well as fair dealings with one another. Cooperation based on trust and open communication are key requirements for performing our shared responsibilities. In addition to comprehensive scope for action, our employees also have responsibility for projects and are involved in decision-making processes from the outset.

Training and promotion of new talent

We set great store on the training and development of our employees, both in technical and commercial careers. The aim is both to hire apprentices upon successful completion of their training and, if they have the aptitude, to support and accompany them in acquiring additional qualifications as part of a development programme. As part of our collaboration with schools in the region, we establish contact with potential future employees and junior employees for our company at an early stage.

Further education and training

All employees—from apprentice to manager—can choose from a wide range of opportunities for personal development. The Dieffenbacher training programme allows our employees to build on their technical, methodological, social and personal skills. We also ensure targeted and individual personal development of our staff, so that they can constantly build on their knowledge.

No discrimination and zero toleration of harassment

Dieffenbacher does not tolerate discrimination of any kind against employees based on gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or philosophy, disability, sexual orientation, age or identity.
