Leadership of the Dieffenbacher Composites Division is passed from Heinrich Ernst to Thomas Müllner

After working for Dieffenbacher for 23 years, Heinrich Ernst is to take his well earned retirement at the end of October 2009. His most recent post was as the head of the Composites Division, an appointment he has held for many years. Under his leadership, the GMT process was successfully developed into the direct LFT-D process, and the direct process for thermosetting plastics (SMC) is also on the verge of being implemented in series production.
In order to push ahead with technological developments, Heinrich Ernst established a cooperation with the Fraunhofer ICT in Pfinztal at an early stage.
Heinrich Ernst will continue to act as a consultant for Dieffenbacher in the future.

Thomas Müllner is going to take over management of the Composites Division on 1 October, 2009. He has many years of experience in the forming industry, and has been working for Dieffenbacher for six years. Four of these years were spent as the Head of Metalforming Sales, before he was switched to the Composites Division in preparation for his takeover of this area.
