New Director of Marketing and Communication at Dieffenbacher

On July 1, 2010, Roger Kautz will assume the position of Director of Marketing and Communication of the Dieffenbacher Group. He succeeds Gustav Aumüller, who is retiring.  Mr. Aumüller has been the Marketing Director of the international Dieffenbacher Group since 1998. Previously, he held a managerial position in the Marketing department of the Schenck Group in Darmstadt for many years. Schenck's Panel Production Systems area was taken over by Dieffenbacher twelve years ago.

Roger Kautz (37) most recently worked as the Marketing Director for a medium-sized engineering company, INP Deutschland, offering services to power plants and for large plant construction. This company was based in Römerberg near Speyer. Mr. Kautz was responsible for setting up and expanding the Marketing department in the international group of companies with sites in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, the USA and South Africa. Prior to this, he ran an advertising agency in Stuttgart for several years, handling projects for customers in the automotive, pharmaceuticals, capital goods and textile industries.

The Marketing department at Dieffenbacher is organized as an independent company. All global marketing activities conducted by the Group are concentrated in the Zentrum für Industriemarketing (Center for Industrial Marketing, ZIM). By the end of 2010, it is planned that the range of ZIM’s services such as marketing planning, media and public relations, international trade shows, market research, corporate publishing or customer relationship management will be offered to other companies in the capital goods industry as well.
