The accuracy of the diagonal saw comes from its ability to track speed variations of the continuous press and adjust the length-cut accordingly. Direct customer cuts can be made in basic board dimensions.

Extremely short cuts are enabled by switching the saw intermittently to an alternating sawing mode, where both saw units cut alternately.

Also laboratory test pieces can be cut at any time during the continuous process.
