Cooperation and promoting young talent
Dieffenbacher currently employs around 60 trainees in technical and commercial trades, cooperative students and Cooperative State University students in various disciplines. In addition to the provision of expertise, we also promote our employees' personal, social and intercultural skills.
By means of learning partnerships with schools, projects with young people from various institutions, cooperation schemes with universities, offers of internships and theses as well as participation in events and trade fairs, we maintain constant contact with our future specialists and managers. For example, Dieffenbacher takes part in the Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie (SIA — pupil engineers academy) in cooperation with Hartmanni-Gymnasium-Eppingen. This is where pupils are introduced to careers in science by means of a joint program organised by schools, universities and businesses. Within the framework of its cooperation with the Realschule and Gymnasium in Eppingen, Dieffenbacher is also making a valuable contribution to the personal development of young people at the interface between school and business. Some of the examples of this include applicant training for future school-leavers, various technical projects, the "Mathematics in Industry" course involving students from Selma-Rosenfeld-Realschule in Germany, support for a student-run "company" in the Hartmanni-Gymnasium-Eppingen, electrotechnical applications in a model house and numerous site visits.
For example, we maintain further cooperation with the following organisations:
