Dieffenbacher fosters the professional development of its employees as part of targeted training measures. These include a comprehensive training programme with more than 150 seminars. As well as specialist seminars and information events, which are conducted by employees for employees, the programme also includes seminars carried out by external training providers. The topics range from IT and language training to special product training and communication and personality development.
Special training programmes
To help university graduates in engineering get started in our company, we offer a trainee programme within the Wood business unit. During the two-year programme, the trainees work in various departments, e.g. Sales, Planning, Design and Research & Development. In addition, there are plans for coordinated deployments in our subsidiaries and customers in Germany and abroad. During the entire training period, our trainees are accompanied and supported by a mentor, who can help with technical matters, among other things.
International exchange programme
As a globally growing group, we want to encourage exchange between employees in our international locations and we have launched an exchange programme for this very purpose. Employees from different departments are sent to a different location for specific tasks or projects for a period of one to three months.
Junior programme for international service assignments
Dieffenbacher offers trainees who have successfully completed their training as electronics technicians for industrial equipment, industrial mechanics or mechatronic engineers, the opportunity to train specifically in the area of service. Over a period of two years, they gain a comprehensive insight into the entire field of plant technology and its sub-components. Within the junior programme, skilled workers are deployed in different departments in order to qualify for the role of a service technician.
